On this optic, with the sunshade installed, the E-10 and the O-50 would be the best fit!

What size flip up cover fits objective lens?

The Vortex Crossfire II AO 4-12x50mm Rifle Scope has an objective lens housing with an outside diameter of 64.5mm. The Vortex Defender Flip cap at the link below will work with this scope.

This says it the scope tube, is 1”. But the mount that is included is 30mm. Is there anyway to correct this so I get the correct mount when I buy it?

The Vortex Crossfire II AO 4-12x50mm Rifle Scope that comes with the Vortex Sport Cantilever Mount is model CF2-31023-KIT1. The mount that comes with this model is the Vortex Sport Cantilever Mount model number CM-102 which has 1" diameter rings and will work with this scope.

I have a 4= 12x50 vortex scope on a AR10 and I run out of dial on the up and down turret on the down side. What did I do wrong?

Does this scope support recoil from a 300 win mag?

The Vortex Crossfire II 4-12x50mm has no exact recoil rating and most manufacturers do not offer a recoil rating on their standard rifle scopes. This is a durable optic and should not have any issues on just about any centerfire cartridge including magnum calibers.

What over and under scope mounts would I need to work on a Remington model 700 with this scope?

The Vortex Crossfire II AO 4-12x50 mm Riflescope can be mounted using an assortment of different mounting options. Keep in mind, the tube diameter is 1inch and I would recommend high or extra high rings. A link to a category with many options for this rifle is provided below.
