I have the Vortex 3x magnifiers and as long as the tension nut is adjusted to make a firm clamp to your rail, the mount is good. It is a bit sloppy so get it close. Set it and forget it. If you plan l to remove it frequently, you may have to make adjustmw ta to re-center the reticle. Also. ADM makes flat levers that can replace the offset lever that I have found to be a nuisance as it gets in way of charging handle when mounting to the rear of the rail.
