I need screws to mount a Viper red dot sight it on an FN 45 tactical pistol. Does this kit have the screws that are long enough for this pistol?

No, this specific kit is a replacement mount and screws for the Viper for a weaver/picatinny style rail. It is an exact replacement to the mount and screws that come from the factory with the Vortex Viper. The screws for the FNX should be included with the handgun when it was purchased, using the Docter red dot plate and screws.

This will not fit the Glock dovetail. In this case, you'll want to check out a rear-sight dovetail adapter from our friends at www.egwguns.com!

Will this mount fit a XD 40?

No, the Vortex Mount Screws and Torx Keys Kit fits to picatinny rails. It will not mount to the slide of a pistol. If you want to mount a Vortex red dot to your XD, you will need the Evolution Gun Works Vortex Viper/Venom Sight Mount found by using the link below:

No, the Vortex Mount Screws and Torx Keys Kit is designed to fit picatinny rails only. If you do not have an optics ready model, you can use the Evolution Gun Works Vortex Razor Sight Mount, found in the link below. If you have an optics ready model, you can request an adapter plate from Springfield Armory.

Will a Vortex Venom mount on this base or does the Venom require a different base?

The Vortex Mount Screws and Torx Keys Kit will be compatible with the Vortex Viper and Vortex Venom. They share the same footprint.
