Will this mount work with the Vortex Viper VRD-6 red dot?

No, the Vortex QR Red Dot Mount will not work for the Vortex Viper. The American Defense Manufacturing AD-SF w/ SF Rail Mount will work with the Vortex Viper. This mount can be found at the link below, but it will allow you to mount the Viper to it using the Viper's picatinny rail mount.

Can I use this on a shot gun?

The Vortex QR Red Dot Mount could be mounted on a shotgun. The Vortex QR Red Dot Mount uses picatinny rail to mount to a firearm, so if you have picatinny rail on the receiver of your shotgun the Vortex QR Red Dot Mount could attach to it.

Will this work on the RIA Vr80 shotgun??

Yes, the Vortex QR Red Dot Mount will work on an RIA VR80 shotgun. The Vortex QR Red Dot Mount mounts to picatinny rail so it will mount to the picatinny rail on the top of that shotgun.
