V Seven Extreme Environment Gas Tube
I've tried just about every gas tube available. The fitment for a standard tube vs this aftermarket aren't completely universal depending on your gas block. Out of the 8 different gas blocks I tried, all were a great fit. The only downside to this gas tube is the gas tube is designed to fail first in an overheating situation to prevent a gas block fatal failure. This gas tube will outlast most barrels and gas blocks. It is lighter, beefier than a standard tube. It isn't necessary but definitely adds to your lightweight or shtf build. I wanted the most durable materials for my build. With this, I have it. Good luck finding a better gas tube.

Smoothest trigger pull on the market.

Especially compared to a stock mil spec trigger, this thing feels like pulling on a feather. It's so light creep is non existent. Backset is a bit much but that is a minor issue. I had a JMT Skeletonized trigger before this and it felt rough on my finger, hard to pull and heavy. I purchased extra trigger shoes for a matching color for my silver/black build. It installed extremely easy. My only wish is that it came with its own anti walk pins set. Luckily I already have one.

So light it feels fake!

I am in the process of building a lightweight AR15, with this rcvr set I got my build to just under 4.5 lbs. Well worth the money. I didn't want to go polymer and the design of this is amazing. Rigid, sleek and worth the money. In the Army, I wish I had this quality. Barrel nut slides on with ease, BCG slides with ease, I will know more to critique once I get it to the range.

I have a SW MP15, the stock barrel is not quite double in weight. I weighed the Faxon barrel it came in at 19.23 oz right on the money. This is deal for a not break the bank lightweight build. I will update after shooting, I'm assuming it will have better accuracy than my stock barrel. I do not plan on mag dumps with this barrel. Great for plinking, lw shtf build and something different. Ive always wanted a sub 5 lb ar15, this barrel makes that possible. Actually sub 4.5lbs. The price on opticsplanet.com is unbeatable with discount.
Shiny but strong

Easy to install with the right punch. Its really strong, doesn't get in the way of your trigger. My only con is the shiny black, very glossy. It smells freshly painted to. It does allow for easier mag changes, multiple ways to lock the bolt to the rear. A bit heavy, great for a piston build, with heavy mag dumps. Not for a lightweight build.

Great sights new sight picture

I put these on my Killer Innovations g17 v1 gen3 slide. I had to file the bottom a bit to get that perfect fit. Takes a bit to get used to the big dot sights. After a few mags, sight acquisition improved dramatically. Night sights are decent. Not the best, but definitely not the worst. Solid set. I wish the front sight was a bit short, like a 1mm, but other than that superb sights.
