The Phase 5 Weapon Systems Inc Extended Bolt Release would provide the same issue as the BAD lever with the release making contact with your receiver, which will cause this mag release to not function properly.

These AR15 Bolt Catches & Releases from Phase 5 Weapon Systems Inc allow access to the bolt release from either side of the firearm, which gives both righties and lefties more options for reloading more quickly and clearing jams more efficiently. One of the improvements in this version of the Phase 5 Weapon Systems Skeletonized Extended Bolt Release V3 is the added grip serrations at the elbow and at the end for more secure operation, especially in cold or wet conditions.
