This works on a Ruger SFAR 308. The roll pin comes out easily and reinstalls the same way. I'm left handed and need an ambi rifle, so this works for me, so far.

Product Info for Phase 5 Weapon Systems Inc Extended Bolt Release V3
The Phase 5 Weapon Systems Extended Bolt Release V3 is compatible with all Mil-Spec AR15/M16 receiver sets, including many billet, side charging, and even left-handed weapons. These AR15 Bolt Catches & Releases from Phase 5 Weapon Systems Inc allow access to the bolt release from either side of the firearm, which gives both righties and lefties more options for reloading more quickly and clearing jams more efficiently. One of the improvements in this version of the Phase 5 Weapon Systems Skeletonized Extended Bolt Release V3 is the added grip serrations at the elbow and at the end for more secure operation, especially in cold or wet conditions. Get faster reloads and stay on target with the streamlined Phase 5 Weapon Systems EBRV3 Lever.
