Most Helpful Negative Review Phase 5 not impressed.
Poor quality. Lots of slop. The arm moves back and forth almost .1/8. 2 points for looking cool none for craftsmanship. Shipping was ehh. For the price tag they should have made the tolerances better.

slim profile extended bolt release lever

I tried using a MagPul extended bolt release lever but it was making contact with the upper receiver. This fixed my issue. I would recommend using this where there’s a tight fit and a bolt on lever is too big.

Phase 5 extended bolt release is solid

The Phase 5 extended bolt release replaces the existing release with complete one piece install that fits most lowers.The install removes the retaining roll pin and replace the lever. Up or down pushes activate or release the bolt. Super fast.

  • Roll pin takes a little effort

  • AR platform function improvement

Well built and perfectly functional

In lieu of an ambi bolt release, the Phase 5 extension looks and functions great. I have the Magpul BAD lever on another rifle, and I think I prefer the Phase 5 for build quality and ergonomics.
