What does imperial mean in the measurement system

Expert Answer
A
Answered by Armando R., Gear Expert, from IL, United States, on December 19, 2018

"Imperial" is the United States measuring system which uses inches, feet, yards, pounds, Fahrenheit, etc. The "Metric" system which is what most other countries in the world follow uses millimeters, centimeters, meters, grams and Celsius. This range finder allows the user to choose between getting their range measurements in yards ("Imperial") or meters ("Metric").

Yes, it can switch between the two. Most Vortex Range Finders can as well, though we'd have to know a particular model to confirm if the feature is supported or not.

This rangefinder only works in second target priority mode, so it will not work as well for golf.
