If your Girsan 1911 MC is optics ready, then the Vortex Venom 1x26.5mm Red Dot Sight will be compatible with the adapter plate included with your Girsan.

I purchased the Vortex Venom and it fit perfectly on my Girsan 1911 MC. The only problem now is that there is not enough elevation adjustment to zero it. This seems to be a common problem which requires a shim to fix, I don't know why this was not addressed at the factory. If it needs a shim it should be provided by Vortex. Now I have to go to Derlin Shim to purchase the shims and it will probably also need longer screws to use them
