Does the centre of the rail line up with the centre of the bore (on an AR-15) so that one can zero the point of impact to be the point of aim? — 1 Answer

I will answer my own question here. No this will not line up with the bore so that one can sight the POA to = the POI. However, the mount works really well and far prefer it's offset in terms of maintaining a cheek weld when transitioning from the main optic. Turns out this is better than trying to get POA = POI which was largely theoretical. Inside of 100 yards it's likely irrelevant anyway so just buy this mount. It's great!
