Is this mount high enough for the ocular bell to clear a Magpul MBUS rear sight when it's folded down?

Whether or not a scope's eyepiece will clear a Magpul MBUS rear sight would depend on the outside diameter of the specific scopes eyepiece. But yes, most scopes mounted with the Warne Quick Detach Gen 2 Extended Skeletonized MSR Mount will have enough clearance or a rear flip down sight. The Warne Quick Detach Gen 2 Extended Skeletonized MSR Mount is also set forward to allow more eye relief but will also allow for more room on the rear of the receiver for a flip down sight.

Yes, the Warne Quick Detach Gen 2 Extended Skeletonized MSR Mount will work with the Vortex Strike Eagle 1-6x24. You will need one of the 30mm diameter models to fit that scope.

Is this a Pictanny mount? Does Warne make similar for Weaver bases?

The Warne Quick Detach Gen 2 Extended Skeletonized MSR Mount, mounts to picatinny rail. I do not believe Warne has an MSR mount for Weaver compatibility. However the NcStar Ar15 Qr Weaver Mount/ Cantilever Scope Mount at the link below may be what you are looking for.

No, the 30mm Warne Quick Detach Gen 2 Extended Skeletonized MSR Mount will fit 30mm main tube riflescopes and the 1 inch will fit 1 inch main tube riflescopes.
