Will a 62mm scope fit with high rings?

No. High rings are designed to accommodate scopes with an objective lens up to 50mm. Extra high rings accommodate scopes that have a 56mm objective lens. To install a scope with 56mm objective on my cz527, can I get buy with the warne med. rings or will I need the high...thanks, Dan

You will need the high height.

Do I need high or medium for a 50 mm scope?

High will work perfectly I have a 44mm objective and got about a half inch clearance. No problem with the bolt handle if you go with the low the bolt handle may not clear the scope.
