Will this work for a Marlin 81 DL?

Weaver does not list any of these as compatible with the Marlin 81 series of rifles.

Yes, you would need item 48401 and then one of the rings mount addons (most likely item 49350)

what is the mounting hole c/c measurement on a 49350 mount ?

The hole spacing (center to center) on Weaver Bracket/Rings #49350 is 1.812".

Savage lists the 48402 for the Model 6 and Model 7 - they do not list the 6A, however.
