Mounted on stevens 87a that had side of receiver drilled and tapped for mount and peep. Lined up perfect. Solid mount base, used with weaver 1" high bracket and rings to mount old bushnell.

Bought for a pre-1964 Winchester 94. Easy installation and adjustment. I gave it a 4 because it didn't have the clearance for the adjustment ring on the 3-9x scope I wanted to use, but I swapped it with the scope on my .270 and it worked just fine.
