I have a 50 cal Thompson Center Kit I built in the mid 1970's Hawkins flint lock I need to replace the rear sight will this work for my gun .

is the rear sight held on by 2 screws about 1 inch apart?

I didn’t measure but they did not align on my Thompson renegade. I had to take my Dremel tool and extend one of the holes in the sight do the screws would line up. This must be done carefully so you still have metal for the screw head to set on. The dovetail on the front had to be run back and forth on a file to remove a little bit on the thickness to fit. With some oil I was able to tap it in nice and tight. Do not file your barrel.

Will these sights work on a Thompson Center Renegade?

I have a T/C .50 cal Renegade (early 90's model) and had a gunsmith install my new sights. They went on with no trouble, holes lined up perfectly on the rear sight. He did drill and tap a screw on the front sight just to be sure it wouldn't get knocked out of adjustment.
