The Winchester SUPER-X SHOTSHELL 20 Gauge 3/4 oz 2.75" Shotgun Slug Ammunition will work in that shotgun as long as it has a compatible choke tube installed or does not have a fixed choked barrel that is not compatible with slugs.

My son has the XP4 in 20 gauge. These need to be shot with the full choke installed correct?

You should not shoot slugs out of a full choke. A cylinder choke or improved cylinder choke would be best.
