Is the seat of the Wise Outdoor Super Sport seat on cooler smaller than the seat on the Wise Outdoor Bucket seat or the same size?

Just got this and there are no instructions, what do we do with the rope? How can we permanently affix the seat to the bucket?

The rope should connect on the sides of the bucket. The seat is not meant to be permanently fixed to the bucket as the bucket is still meant to be used as a cooler.
