Is this compatible with a Scalarworks front sight?

Looking at a SCALARWORKS front sight tower in online pictures, I am going to guess probably not and that would apply to both our AR & AK front sights.

Can I screw out the post and put it in my ak or do I have to use the base also????

Expert Answer
A
Answered by Brandon B, Gear Expert, from IL, United States, on October 15, 2021

You have to use our base. The original AK front is a round post so adjustments can be mere portions of a turn and the front sight will always look the same. Our tritium front sight only has a single face, so each adjustment must be a full 360° rotation of the sight. If we used the same thread as the factory front the adjustments would be way to coarse.
