My concern is that down the road when the sight becomes dim and I need to replace,getting it off after jb welding could prove to be ugly.

Careful application of the JB Weld initially will help prevent problems.

The XS Sight Systems Big Dot Tritium for Shotgun can be installed with any two part epoxy like JB Weld, according to the manufacturer. The link below will take you to the installation instructions.

Yes, the XS Sight Systems Big Dot Tritium for Shotgun will work for that front sight. The XS Sight Systems Big Dot Tritium for Shotgun uses an epoxy to go over the existing front sight and stay in place.

Can the Big Dot be installed using Locktite instead of epoxy, so it isn't permanent?

The XS Sight Systems Big Dot sight goes over your already installed front bead and doesn't necessarily replace it. In order for it to stay in place the epoxy should be used.

Will this work with a Mossberg Shockwave 590S 12 gauge? Is it epoxied to the bead? Or do you remove the bead and it screws into the hole?

The XS Sight Systems Big Dot Tritium for Shotguns will work on a Mossberg Shockwave 590s. The Plain Barrel model goes over top the existing bead according to the manufacturer.
