Very nice looking if not a bit spendy. It fits perfectly on my AT3 vertical grip replacing the standard aluminum. The wood is very nice looking and matches great with the mlok rail panels.

This is a very specialized product. If you have an old Samson evo rail, then these covers will fit. I’m an amateur gun plumber, and highly modified mine, but with great results. I trimmed them to fit my rail locations, drilled extra holes to better secure on rail, and stipled the whole thing. It works and looks great. Comes with 8 little plastic install screws. I broke a couple by seating them in with a plastic hammer taps. Just push them in by hand. Was able to make one side about 5” long with 4 screws, and other side about 4” long with 2 screws. Also put a dab of epoxy on screws to help secure. Material is very tough, takes trimming and sanding and stipling very well.

I have several regular 509’s, and love them all. Can’t beat the enclosed nature and no rain, mud, dust getting in sight. Very easy to clean and very sturdy. Bigger buttons are far superior to other Holo offerings. Mount system is a bit tricky, but not terrible. This one uses standard 509 footprint, but is a tad longer. Actually fits better with the rmr adapter plate for aftermarket mounts because the standard 509 is shorter than an rmr, so looks a tad awkward. This one fits completely flush with included adapter plate on any rmr mount. I use this on a piggyback for AR, and on ADM low mount for shotgun. The trick is to turn off the large circle for long gun applications. The big circle only works for pistols, as it’s always visible closer to eye. But you just use the chevron only, and it’s very nice. Reminds me of the old trijicon chevron optics.

PRI makes really good stuff. This is a great item at half the price of TJ product. The dimensions are such that it takes patient screw tightening to even all sides out. It’s a huge bonus that it works as a top ring on the aluminum PRI rings. As another reviewer mentioned you just need to watch overall height of RMR/holo. But, this can but put at the 2oclock position to reduce height a bit at offset. That also gets it out of the way if you have tall turrets. Or on a hunting rifle use it with lower rings and as a top ring.

Charged completely and installed. Just made clicking sound and never reset trigger. Also never shot laser out. Not once. Really wanted to like and use this, but Mantis has to get control of their QAQC. Got return from OP. Mantis was no help on phone. Wouldn’t replace for me. Just said return to retail. Disappointed and not sure if I’ll roll the dice again for a $200 plus item?

Very nice finish. Very good material. Thread is M22x.75 RH. Bought a die and wrench from Amazon and hand threaded my SBS 11” saiga 12. Worked great. Just difficult, or impossible to line up markings on comp with threads. Can’t speak to recoil reduction as haven’t shot yet. But hope so as it’s a little mule. I like that it’s not huge. It’s essentially the size of a 2 3/4 shell. Not obnoxious like a lot of them out there. Also very light. Negligible weight.

This safety is a perfect upgrade. Dropped in no fitting. Added just enough extra length without being obstructive. Perfectly extra purchase and length to make mag releases slightly easier without having to rotate as much in hand. Installed in two Springfield 1911’s.

Got the slotted version for putting pistol belt mount on. Also got the wider version after not liking the slim version. I know everybody is going slim these days, but the reality is that most all molle pouches don’t attach securely with only two molle rows. It’s the big secret nobody talks about. The three row works sooo much better. And if you’re worried about it being too bulky, just take out the plastic stiffening strip and use a stiff belt inside. It is way more comfortable and useable than the current popular slim type. They are really only good for pistol and mags. And don’t mount a med kit at the small of your back. You can’t sit down in anything with it there.

Added this to my hsgi belt with the suspender loops. It is very high quality. Totally overbuilt. As shipped, it is way too bulky and complicated. Tons of straps, flaps, buckles and stuff. I stripped them down to just what is needed and mounted directly to suspender loops on battle belt. Tossed the extra straps and mounted shock cord directly to suspender loops on belt. Now perfect fit, functional, and much more streamlined. Tried several different styles before these. Unnoticeable under plate carrier with extras removed. They are great. Just think about how to mount them without all the snagging, hanging extra stuff.

It’s a very interesting material. Like a super thin poly layer with soft backing. Flexible, yet still firm. Very thin and light. Perfect for adding a bit of 3a coverage in side plate pouches. Way more comfortable and practical than side rife plates. Helps give more coverage to sides for pistol or frag protection without even noticing they are there. Also helps to give some firmness to side latte area for mounting pouches. Helps them stay firm and not flop around. Can’t go wrong. Especially if you’re not a fan of hard side plates.
