The manufacturer states that the XS Sight Systems DXW2 Big Dot Sight Ruger Security Six model also works for the Alaskan revolvers. However, the front sight height is only correct for the 454 Casull chambered Alaskan. So the XS Sight Systems DXW2 Big Dot Sight Ruger Redhawk model may work but I recommend contacting the manufacturer to confirm which model would work best for your revolver.

I have run into this exact problem and did reach out to the Factory, they said as in an email back to me in Jan 2025 that this sight has not been tested on a Ruger Super Redhawk 44 snub Alaskan.
