Will this compatible with the mossberg 590A1 retrograde as I want to install a Vortex Viper VDR6 red dot optic?

The front sight will not work on the Retrograde unless you have a gunsmith solder on a front sight ramp.

The rail and rear sight will fit just fine. You will need to have a gunsmith solder on a ramp for the front sight.

Will this kit work on the JM930

Yes. The correct XS Sight Systems Shotrail, Ghost Ring & Standard Dot White Sights for the JM930 is MPN:MB-4000R-1. It will be a straight drop in installation if you have holes drilled and tapped into your receiver.

does this fits a mossberg 590a1 and do I need a gunsmith for installation?

installation if the receiver has been drilled and tapped at the factory should be pretty straightforward. However before ordering I would suggest measuring the barrel out where the bead front sight is to see what the diameter is. Mossberg has built he 590-590a1’s with both their std weight barrel and a Heavy Contour barrel. If the latter then the banded front unit will not work. The Std barrel will be in the 0.840-0.860” size range and the Heavy Contour barrel will be 0.920-0.940” in size.
