If you are referring to the one that says Universal, that is actually for a crossbow bolt. Make sure you get one that is specific to the .308

No, the Sightmark Laser Bore Sight cannot be adjusted for windage or elevation. They are calibrated from the factory and will not require adjustment.

The Sightmark Laser Bore Sights use 3 Type AG3or 2 AG5 batteries (17HMR, .22LR take AAA).

Will the 7x65R fit the Remington 7mm magnum?

The Sightmark Laser Bore Sight for 7x65R will not work for 7mm Rem Mag. According to Sightmark Sightmark Laser Bore Sight model SM39004 will work for 7mm Rem Mag.

i bought a 9 mm bore sight i try to twist to turn on it doesnt turn on do you need to take the screw on cap off and buy batteres

The Sightmark Laser Bore Sights use 2 AG5 batteries or 3 AG3 batteries. The batteries are included with the Sightmark Laser Bore Sights but will need installed for it to work.
