This QD end plate isn't flat--it has a backside protrusion. Is it only compatible w/ lower receivers having a hole that accommodates the protrusion? Expert Answer

The Radian Weapons Ultralight AR15 QD Endplate will work with Mil-Spec Lower Receivers. A lot of end plates have a slide protrusion to align with the rear of the lower receiver.

Also, the QD sling swivel cup is made from titanium for an extra strong build. The Radian Weapons Lightweight Rifle Quick-Detach End Plate is compatible with both Mil-Spec and commercial carbine buffer tubes. Install this Radian Weapons Ultralight QD End Plate for AR15/M16 to securely attach a sling to your firearm.image
