Features, price, and reliability wise, the 403b is that minimum for a "do everything" red dot. I dropped it twice and it went a bit out of zero. Both times were hard drops, on the rifle, from about 3 feet. Not a scratch. Impressed with the durability.

Yes it's large for compacts like a G19, but the durability and lumen/candela numbers simply outdistance Streamlight much less lesser manufacturers. It really is buy once cry once. I like this so much I know have to unload all my other lights and get new holsters.

I bought this to allow me to keep shooting, but not have to worry about 9mm costs. It works really well but with one caveat. You have to use 36 to 40gr rounds with it. FPS has to be around 1200 rounds for this to cycle properly. Less potent rounds may not even eject. The kit tells you this when you buy it an dif you do your research you should already know this.
Issue there is that the CCI 40gr mini mag rounds they recommend are also in somewhat short supply. as of this writing.
Its accurate, but the magazines are a pain to load as they don't have the level like the glock 44 mags.
Overall I'm happy with this purchase with around 700 rounds through it.

The Troy enhanced trigger guard is well made, offers a ton of room and is very wide. But it has a problem. It creates a large gap right where your middle finger knuckle will rest. If you're familiar with "glock knuckle" it will create a slightly worse effect. You can buy a houge or ergo grip that has a bit that will fill this gap and ergo makes a thing called a gapper that will fill the gap if you already have a grip that doesn't have a gapper...like a standard magpul grip will cause this guard to bit your knuckle.
It's built really well, but there are options that don't require additional steps.

If you have different kinds of ammo, 55gr, 62gr, 77gr etc and you find yourself unloading full mags often...this thing is going to become your best friend. The time it saves justifies the cost....after very few uses.
If you deal with a lot of loose ammo, you should probably have one.

From a quality and function standpoint, the Enhanced Trigger Guard is what you would expect from magpul. If you wear gloves to shoot, this thing will accommodate them far better than a standard trigger guard. It does "bite" a little, as a lot of trigger guards do. Depending on what grip you use it can leave a gap right over the knuckle on your middle finger. This is easily fixed by ordering a grip with a small "ergo" tab or if you already have a grip, there are inserts made by ergo that will work.

I like the Streamlight products in general and the HLX is a good to go. Comes with a mounting system for rails and their "ten touch" system is a nice feature. There are better lights, but not better for the money. This is a good entry level light for entry level builds

The TLR7a is maybe the best option for those of us that can't carry appendix and want to CCW/LTC. It's far more compact than TLR1s/x300s and has enough light to be used for PD/HD. The controls on the 7a are also better than the 6, 7, or the TLR1.

I have big chunky hands and looking around at hands stops to assist with thumb over holds and most of them looked like they would tear into my hand or possibly not make enough contact to matter. I'm pretty stoked about about well they do what I wanted them to do. Another great BCM product.

I decided to build a MK18 upper from Daniel Defense parts and this was the gas block I chose. Works well through about 2k rounds so far. I was a little worried about the clamp being the only thing holding it on, but so far I have zero issues.
