Can this sling me modified for use on an irregularly "slung" rifle like an M1 Carbine? If not, what would you suggest? Classic USGI doesn't work. Expert Answer

Yes, it can and without permanent modification. The clip can be removed from the end of the sling and routed through the rear sling mount.

DO NOT use this sling on your rifle! The HK hooks are cheap and flimsy. A slight twist on the hooks and they will pop off. Also, who in their right mind would put their nylon company logo on the sling right behind the user's neck. SMH
