1791 Rifle Sling
Big fan of the 1791 leather products. I have acquired a lot of their products over the years. Quality and functionality that keeps well and is easy to maintain! From Slings to belts to holsters they hit the mark every time. As a contractor it’s nice to wear civilian gear once in a while.

Attention to detail
The leather on this sling is fantastic and the build quality is amazing. The issue is that there are two screws one must remove to attach the sling mounts, which should make for a sturdy connection. One side of the screw attachment is a Phillips head and the other is a round hole. Not a Torx and not an Allen head, but a plain round hole with no way to get hold of it to loosen the screw. I spent an hour with Allen wrenches and pliers trying to get the thing apart so I could mount it. Some attention to detail and an extra $0.02 for an Allen head would have been just as secure and saved me an hour of trying to find a way to get the screws apart.
