Too far out of spec
As with a lot of products here this year, this one is defective. The area where the bolt slides is too narrow and it sticks preventing the gun from cycling. I tried 3 different carriers but like I said it's just defective. To make it worse it took 3 months to arrive and longer for some other parts so now it's to late to get my money back.
Another great product from 2A
This upper is the perfect match for any lightweight build. I paired it with the Palouse lite lower and a faxon pencil barrel with a bcm hand guard and bam!!!! Lightweight ar-15 gold! Highly recommend if you’re looking to build a lightweight build and not break the bank.

Had to Return to 2A to Fix
I ordered this item and found it to have a similar issue like another buyer/reviewer. My 2A bolt carrier had issue fitting inside. I had to apply lots of pressure for it to seat. I liked the finish and machining that was done to it so I decided to return it to 2A for fixing instead of dealing with OP return system. I had to pay for the shipping to 2A which added to the overall cost. I received my fixed receiver a few days after arriving at the 2A facility, they were speedy. I gave it 3 stars because the item was defective from the start. I would give it more stars if there were no issues. I hope 2A fixes this issue with QA.

No issues, I like it.
Works as expected. Put it on my AR-15 .22 build and it's been just fine. No tolerance issues for me. I've probably put 100 rounds through the build so far and I've had no issue pop up with this upper receiver.
