Different Sources for Different Colors
I wrote a separate review for these pants in black color. The brown ones were sewn in India and I noticed that there were a lot more loose threads in this pair, particularly for the bar-tacking at the belt loops. The black ones from Vietnam seemed to be better finished.
The non-slip waist band is almost 3" wide, providing a very secure grip on your tucked-in shirt. It stretches over 2" on each side, giving you a wide range for big meals. I prefer the slimmer silicone non-slip band of Blackhawk's tactical pants though.
Will I buy them again? Yes, but in a smaller 36" for a more flattering fit in the front of the pants.

Okay I Guess
This pair of the 5.11 Men's PDU Pants was sewn in Vietnam. The finish was acceptable and came unhemmed as advertised. It's no problem to bring it to your local seamstress for a custom trim of the pants leg. The two covert thigh pockets are quite small (perhaps 8"x5" at its widest dimensions but it isn't a regular rectangle) and can only fit a pen. small notebook or gum/mints. The true function of these pockets escape me.
The fit in the front was a bit strange for a "dress" pants - midway between true dress pants and tactical pants. I ordered a size 38" waist but because of the elastic waist, will get them in size 36" next time (yes, I would buy them again).
