This is a very well constructed vest, durable, and is used as a cover concealment vest for IDPA shooting. But don't let the TacLITE part fool you, it's still a heavy vest and gets quite warm on summer TN days.
Pros: Plenty of pockets, mag holders and even a water bottle.
Cons: Not as light as expected, hate to see the heavy version.
5.11 Taclite vest
This is an excellent garmant. The quality is as expected from 5.11. Solid and well constructed. This was purchased to use in IDPA matches. The vest is heavy in just the right spots for ease of clearing to get to your gun or magazines for a reload. It also has tons of pockets.

As advertised
Works as advertised. Very functional. Much heavier than I anticipated. Glad iI bought the takLITE. Added the holster . Order the holster when you get this vest if you are going to ccw.

5.11 Taclite Vest
I've done a lot of research on tactical vests. The 5.11 Taclite vest is the "Best in Breed".
Pros: light weight, many pockets, internal attachments to belt for weight distribution
