First things first, I am not a pen collector so keep this in mind when reading the following review. I went back and forth on whether to get this pen or one of the cheaper Smith and wesson M&P pens and finally decided to get this one as a christmas present to myself. I couldn't be happier with it. it feels great in the hand and has some heft to it. the fischer space pen ink cartridge writes really well although if you are looking for something to write like a fountain pen this is not it. This writes more like a traditional ball point pen but smoother.the "tactical" end is quite sharp and would, if needed, I'm sure be effective at poking holes in whatever was needed. It is also very aesthetically pleasing with the matte black finish. Buy this, you won't be disappointed.
