fits a m1 paratrooper, x-tra mags and ammo. goes nicely on shoulders and feels good on back. tarmac looks great, zippers seem strong and velcro tabs for securing barrel inside. if you get one it should be a winner for you.

this bag is awsome! i don’t know if it said it in the description but not only can it be carried like a backpack, it can also be carried sling style. it is made very well and has a handle to carry it as well. i’m really glad i decided on getting this bag for my mossberg 590 shockwave.
Pros:
- can be carried on your back two different ways

This bag is a perfect size for your 11.5 pistol. I was able to fit 6 magazines and amongst other range equipment. It keeps it shape and is super thin for those quick trips to the range. The quality is everything you expect out of a 5.11 bag. Definitely worth every dollar spent

This is the second one I have ordered. This bag is an improvement over the older M4 Shorty COVRT bag. It has stiffeners in the bag so it keeps it's shape and more retention areas in main compartment. The rifle can go stock down in this one. The bag is also squared off to make more room. This bag will fit a 16" AR-15 with a Law Tactical folder, Sig 556 Swiss Classic and an 18" Tavor SAR (tight fit). The outside pocket has plenty of room. I keep a grab-and-go style mag carrier in mine. The new style of bags could make use of different colors to make the bag less tactical.
Pros:
- Has stiffeners and holds shape
- Has more room than older model
Cons:
- Needs different colors in bag design
Best Used for:
- SBR's, AR pistols, AR's with folding stocks

This bag is a vast improvement over the original M4 Shorty Covrt bag. It is squared-off so grips and other parts of rifle do not put pressure on zippers. The bag has stiffeners sewn in so it is not floppy, keeps it's shape and rifle parts do not jab you in the back. This bag will accept 16" barreled AR with a Law Tactical folder, Sig 556 Swiss Classic and 18" Tavor Sar (tight fit). The best improvement is the stock (folded, in my case) can go bottom first, barrel up and there are more places to tether parts of the rifle. More of a backpack style and not a sling bag. Outer pocket is big enough to carry a grab-n-go mag carrier.
Pros:
- Squared-off
- Has stiffeners and holds shape
- plenty of room in outside pocket
Best Used for:
- AR Pistols
- SBR's
- 16" barreled MSR's w/folding stocks
