Id like to start off by saying i own many backpacks and this is my first 5.11 pack, and i would most definatly buy another one after seeing the quaility first hand. I purchased this pack to use on my upcoming trip to yellowstone to carry all of the itmes we would use on a daily basis. My first impressions of the pack was it is a little on the small size, so if you are looking to load it up with a lot of items you may want to goto the next size(for instanace thw two 32oz nalgene bottles i bought for the trip would take up more than half of the main compartment, so i plan on adding two 5.11 H20 carriers to the side of the pack)

The front compartment is small but it should provide plenty of space to organize things like keys, wallets, cash, pens, knives, maps,phones, etc. It is well organized and i plan to use this part of the pack for all the items listed above.

The Main compartment as stated above is a little on the small side but hey its meant to be a smaller day pack, so you might be able to squeeze in 1-2 sweathshirts and other items as needed.

On the exterior the pack has plently of Molle webbing to add additonal pouches, two velcro sections for id patached and/or morale patches. The straps are cery comfortible and the material feels super rugged. I cant wait to load this pack up and try it out on my trip.
