Pendrey's Review of 5.11 Tactical Stryke Pant w/Flex-Tac - Men's, 30in Inseam
I've always been a Wrangler man until a severe back injury 5 years ago. Unable to carry anything in my back pockets left me in need of space for my EDC items. It was a time where being disabled not only triggered some weight gain, but also left me feeling helpless to defend myself & my family! This is when I became very serious about making concealed carry a daily habit!
Since I needed new britches, I began trying various "tactical" type pants that had elastic in their waistband & cargo pockets to substitute for the lack of use of back pockets. Price was the initial factor. Features & quality came from trial & error, especially since I'm unable to drive & live in a rural area, I was left to buy online without the benefit of trying on various brands & styles before buying. I've owned brands like Tru-Spec, Propper, LA Police Gear, Blackhawk & 5.11 off the top of my head. Until recently I found the Blackhawk Lightweight Tactical pants to be the best bang for my buck.
Recently came across an article the New 5.11 Stryke Tactical pants with Flex-Tac and it peaked my interest. I proceeded to look at various reviews and I only found 2 cons related to my use. One being the price & the second being that those that wore them no longer desired to wear their other brands which I now understand. These are the first tactical pants that I've gotten compliments on the looks. That's nice, but the best aspect of these pants over ALL the others is how comfortable they are! Living in Georgia we can get pretty hot & humid. This is the only breathable fabric that I can truly feel a breeze & a couple of times this Fall I went from comfortable to a little cool! That's when I found a reason for one of my old pairs that can be a bit warm, especially in the summer. If you haven't come to the conclusion yet... I LOVE THESE PANTS!
NO I'M NOT A DISCOUNTED REVIEWER, I JUST WANTED TO SHARE SO OTHERS MIGHT EXPERIENCE FOR THEMSELVES ONE OF THE BEST APPAREL PRODUCTS MADE!!!
