Favorite pants I've ever owned!
I've always been a Wrangler man until a severe back injury 5 years ago. Unable to carry anything in my back pockets left me in need of space for my EDC items. It was a time where being disabled not only triggered some weight gain, but also left me feeling helpless to defend myself & my family! This is when I became very serious about making concealed carry a daily habit!
Since I needed new britches, I began trying various "tactical" type pants that had elastic in their waistband & cargo pockets to substitute for the lack of use of back pockets. Price was the initial factor. Features & qu...

Great pants
I wear these everyday for work and love them. The compartments inside the cargo pockets are great for tourniquets, gloves, and even your cell phone. The standard pockets are easier to get to with a duty belt on than my department issued flying cross pants as well. They're comfortable and rugged. Only downside is the color fades pretty quick but like I said, I do wear them everyday for work so I guess I can't complain about that too much.

5.11 pants are super!
Wished I would have found 5.11 before now, I've bought matching shorts because I like the pants so well. Fit great, room to move and very durable A++ The color selection is wonderful as well, they even fit in for office colors and dont just look like regular tactical gear which in some places may be frowned upon when having to wear dress clothes
Pros:
- Fit snug but plenty of room to move
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- Wearing every day
Would recommend: Yes
True to size
The waistline stretches, length is true to size. I wear these for plain clothes work. These pants are really comfortable for appendix carry. The cargo pants are for big enough for credentials. The inside cargo pockets have two slots that runs down to the bottom of the cargo pocket, they're big enough for pistol mags/phone. The material stretches, however the aren't baggy.
Pros:
- Comfortable
- Does not scream tactical
- Casual
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- Plain clothes, depending on the color you buy

5.11 Stryke
These pants work great for on duty uniform. Very comfortable and has many pockets for all your tools. The material is very durable and does not fade. It is made for heavy duty use on the streets. I would recommend this LE.

Great pants
This is the best tactical pants in the market. The flexibility of this pants does not limit my mobility and doesnt feel like any tactical pants. Cargo pockets are strategically located and angled for ease of reach. I pocket carry using the cargo pocket of this pants and I have no trouble drawing from it (I dont need to reach down).

5.11 stryke pants
My favorite duty work pants. Fits just as ordered and this is a good thing because I can't often wear and exposed holster and I am able to carry my back up weapon in the cargo pocket. And the pants are rugged AND comfortable- both!! We probably won't go with any other vendor on pants or hats but 5.11

The Excellent 5.11 Stryke Pant (strikes again)
I have several pairs of this excellent pant; and, if I ever find the OD in stock, I'll have another. This pant scores where others fail. Excellent use and placement of pockets (although the cargo's could be a little longer). Great use of Velcro, not too much and not too hard to "unzip". Length is perfect for me but maybe a tad too short for you. Waist is true to size with a nice elastic give (invisible) to accommodate inside the waistband carry options. My most recent pair are Dark Navy and, it's so dark that it is easily mistaken for black. That's good. If you've ever had navy pants you know the color fades out quickly...these won't. Buy 'em.
Pros:
- Great Fit
- Functional
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- EDC
- "tacticool"

Stylish yet Tactical
Classy pair of pants. I bought battle brown and the colour looks great. I choose a 30waist 30leg. I thigh area is firmer than expected but I squatted down and the flex-tac came in to its own. No uncomfortable strain on seems and the movement was easy. I'd be interested to try a 32w 30leg to see if that loosened the thigh area and if it was still a good fit on my waist as in truth I'm probably a 31waiat, so I chose to go smaller than larger. However in saying that, the gusset waist is brilliant. It feels firm on my waist but I don't feel squashed. The cargo pockets are in a great position (angle and height). The standard side pockets comfortable to use and deep. The other pockets have yet to be utilised but on initial pull, push and poke seem totally adequate. Comparing them Stryke pant to my Taclite Pros, the Pros now feel stiffer and bagy, so in summary and using language from down under these 5.11 Stryke Pants are 'The ducks nuts!'
Pros:
- Comfortable
- Value for money
- Stylish
- tactical
Cons:
- None
Would recommend: Yes
