5.11 Tactical Taclite Pro 11in Ripstop Shorts...
Code: T5-S7-BDEEED-73308-192-36
Purchase Date: 09/27/2023
Are wonderful. I bought these as a gift for my son who is an double amputee.
These shorts give him comfort of dressing and undressing, as well as wearing in all the activities he does.
They wash true to size and color. I do wash them inside out, and this works well.
They dry in the dryer well, but I don't dry them in really hot settings. They also dry well hanging up.
I would but these again. Great quality shorts for the money paid.
Thank you for these shorts.
Pros:
- Great quality great price and great look
- Washes well and dries well
- Great comfort in dressing and wearing

These are good shorts keep you cool dry fast and good range of motion. Waist band is very comfortable. Fabric seems to be very rugged. The front pocket is a great location for a knife and the pocket on the left is perfect for a feel phone.

I always buy shorts with a minimum inseam of 11 inches. Usually get Kuhl, but for tactical, convenient, quality, comfort and price, these are hard to beat. Good for hiking. I always get a size larger to use my iwb holster. Buy with confidence.
Pros:
- Sized perfect
- quality/price - value/installation

The 5.11 Taclite Shorts are made of lightweight quality material. They are extremely comfortable and sized well. It has loads of pockets with significant storage. However, the back pockets are very large and your wallet can be shifted into uncomfortable positions when you sit down. Overall, the 5.11 shorts are a high quality and comfortable product with the only negative of an aggressive back pocket design which has to be constantly adjusted if a wallet is carried.
Pros:
- Lightweight
- quality material
- comfortable,

Even get compliments from people on how sharp they look. Great for everyday wear, with plenty of pockets for storage of needed items. Fit well and comfortable. No complaints from this customer, who carries everyday.

First, I own 6 pair of the Taclite pants. The nice thing with those is that they have knee pad inserts and you can literally grind the material on concrete and it will not even faze it. They are tough as nails. The problem I had with the pant is that they do get sweaty when things get hot, for me at least, others report better breathability than other like style pants. So, I bought the shorts to keep cool and still be able to have a low profile cargo pant with places for my cell phone, my Leatherman, and whatever else I might be toting. The shorts have a nice feel to them, and while subjective I find them to be more comfortable than even a cotton short. My only complaint is that they ought to be a bit less expensive since you are giving up quite a bit of the utility of the pant. 5.11 really needs to consider a hybrid, zip-off Taclite pant.

High quality material, thought lightweight is a stretch. Pockets galore. Length consistent with current style. For me they were too right in the crotch, especially with sitting, so regrettably I had to return them. .
Cons:
- Crotch tight when sitting

I bought these to satisfy my concealed carry needs as well as those of a father of a very active young boy! With the stain resistance Cotton poly blend in addition to the durable construction and multiple pockets, thses are my gonto shorts!

Great shorts that look good. The one down side is that they are tight on the butt and my wife and her friends say I have no butt. So take that into consideration.
Pros: Good tuff Shorts that will hold more than I would like to carry
Cons: tight in butt
