Hands down the most comfy 5.11 pants in their lineup. it's stretchy, it's comfy, it has magazine holders in the thigh pockets, it has reinforced front pockets for them knife carrying people, it's got zippered back pockets, and last but not least, i but the wrong size, and OpticsPlanet return was simple and quick.

Stretchy cargo pants - expensive and worth it

by RobertJ, from SC, United States Written on September 25, 2015
Some guys say the fit of these pants are too snug and they feel self-conscious or embarrassed as if they're wearing skinny jeans. These pants do fit comfortably snug in the hips and butt (and if your thighs are big they're tight there too), however you simply need to wear your shirt out/untucked to solve this. I made the mistake of wearing these pants to work with my polo shirt tucked in... and pulled my shirt out within 2 minutes! These are basically loose fitting yoga pants with cargo pockets. You could easily run, weight train or play any sport you wanted in these pants. You can also sit at your desk comfortably for 12 hours without having to adjust yourself. When you get home, you want to keep on wearing them because you can't imagine any other pants being more comfortable... unless your talking about loose fitting pajama bottoms. The material stretches in every direction and although the cargo pockets lay flat (no pleating) you can still stuff a lot of items into these pockets if you need to. I first started wearing them on casual Fridays then bought more colors (when on sale around $55 each) and started wearing them more days of the week. I can imagine them not being warm enough in the winter because the material is thin. Although the thigh/quad areas are somewhat snug, they're really no more snug than the normal 5.11 Tactical cargo pants. Once you sit down in your car or at your desk (or have to bend down or climb stairs, etc) you realize why you paid more m...

My new Fav

by Phantom, from CO, United States Written on August 29, 2014
Love these pand... especially for warm weather work. great flex and lots of ball room. Cargo pockets are good size and the builtin elastic bands keep your AR mags in easy reach and keeps them in good position. Great secure zippered rear pockets... like the reinforced cuffs and pocket corner for Knife placement.

Great Pants. Ordered a second pair.

Use them for an on-duty dress down alt uniform pant. Love the mobilty they provide.
Pros: Super functional. Really like the low profile and rear waistband pockets.
Cons: Sizing is a bit big. Elastic adjustable waist similar to 5.11 Stryke would be a great feature if Propper decides to make a 2.0 version. Get rid of tabs on front belt loops.
