Most Helpful Positive Review Great way to add storage!
Added this to my Spec Ops Brand Recon Ruck as I wanted to add some storage to the top flap and I wanted something with a zipper opening for ease of access. I started with a smaller pouch and I wish I had gone with this from the start! This pouch is fantastic, it fits the top flap perfectly and the slick stick attachment system seems very sturdy. If you have a Recon Ruck (or another pack that you want to add storage to) this is the product for you! Pros: Sturdy, spacious and versatile Cons: None

Great add-on; but...

Putting the 10.6 (H) pouch on a 5.11 backpacks, you discover the 10.6's Slicksticks do NOT line up to make attachment & centering easy. On the fronts of the different 5.11 backpacks and you see four to six horizontal usable rows with six (centered) MOLLE slots each, now count what you can 'see' on pictures of the pouch; the tops of four Slicksticks with three spaces in-between. With this seven-to-six ratio, you have to squish the two middle Slicksticks together to put on a bag. Still it's solid and it works as needed. Not trying to detract from the quality of the 5.11 product(s); love their stuff, just wish they had standardized their alignments.

I use this to store 5.56 ammo in stripper clips. I can pack 300+ rounds.
1000D nylon and ykk zipper are extremely durable and can stand heavy use. SlickStick molle attachment is very easy to use
Pros: 1000D nylon and ykk zipper are excellent quality
