Great sturdy belt. 1.75" wide. excellent for sidearms and extra mags.

I would definitely get the larger size. I have a 32" waist and the Medium is just barely long enough for the velcro to attach.
the Large size has lots of room left though..

Sturdy, high-quality belt with adjustable sizing for a perfect fit. The belt locks up tightly with the buckle and easily supports the weight of a loaded holster and other gear. I like this belt so much I own multiple ones. Highly recommended.

I've been leading up to this belt over the past 2 years. Went with the 1.5" 511 TDU first - too thin and didn't hold my gear, felt like a strap around my waist. Then went with the 511 reversible - definitely thicker but when wearing, the buckle is not the lowest profile - and it's plastic. that's still my go to belt when traveling and most days for EDC. But I needed a little more 'belt' for matches and EDC options so I picked up the operator 1.75". Buckle system is simple, flatter profile than the TDUs - and it's steel. I like leather belts because of the support and this belt definitely doesn't feel like a strap but a real belt thanks to the stiffener and extra width and it's not over the top either. Supports clothing and gear nicely (use an OWB tactical measure holster for 9mm compact with Blackhawk double mag pouch). more than sufficient and can add gear no problem. This is a great alternative EDC belt. 1.75" width will fit levis jeans, vertex pants (make sure you verify what your belt loops will accept). My only problem is (and it's significant)I followed the sizing directions and it fits BUT the end section of the belt that doubles back and fastens down via Velcro is too long and interferes with my holster. I'm a 34 waist so I ordered a Large since medium was 32-34". Turns out Medium was really what I needed to cut down the section the doubles back. This is the second 5.11 belt I have owned my last one lasted me two years of every day use. would highly recommend to anyone looking for a very sturdy belt. Sizes run true in my case. Definitely will be buying more in the future

this is a well constructed belt. great quality and value. I use this with an IWB concealed holster to carry a heavy pistol and it works very nicely. I am pleased with this belt and would definitely purchase another. and it holds my pants up too! I ordered the size I needed and it fit perfectly ( I did not order one size bigger.. actually I ordered both and the next size bigger was way too large).

The belt is excellent. It is stiff torsionally, but pliant enought to conform to your body shape. Solid buckle holds without slipping. Belt holds my Blackhawk holster and mag puches firmly with no slop.

This is a great belt for if you need a heavy duty belt. The double layer webbing is very sturdy and great for keeping a holster in place. Wait for the 5.11 sponsored sales and it is a good value for the quality.

I wear it daily and it keeps my inside waistband holster and pistol very secure. I was looking for a good gun belt and this meets my needs perfectly.Very high quality and I would recommend it to anyone needing a good belt.

One of the best conceal carry belts available. Buckle is fully adjustable and belt itself is re-inforced to keep weapon secure with minimal movement. I would recommend one size larger when ordering to provide a little excess length, which I found helpful when hanging a paddle holster.
