Taclite Pro Shorts
I have 7 pair of the Taclite Pro pants and wear them constantly. Now with the summer heat here in LV I ordered 3 pair of the shorts and they are exactly the same as the pants except for length of course. Roomy, comfy and easy to take care of. I ordered 2 pair of the shorts on May 4, at regular price around 48 or so each. A week or 2 later I received an email that they were on sale for around 36 so I called and Optic Planet adjusted my balance since they hadn't shipped yet. EXCELLENT SHORTS
These 5.11 Tactical Taclite Pro Shorts are made extremely well. Love them.
Very durable. Loads of storage and pockets, velcro closure keeps the cargo safely stored.
Material is durable, expecting them to be able to take some abuse!
Nice selection of colors to choose from.

Great shorts
I already own a couple pairs of the Taclite Pro long pants, but wanted the shorts for hot weather. I love the fact that these have the exact same pockets in the exact same locations as the long pants so that everything I carry is consistently in the same place, regardless of whether I'm wearing the shorts or pants.

I have a few of these and they are lasting forever. Quite strong and durable shorts. I like the fact that they have the same pockets configuration as the Taclite pants; this means that everything I usually carry is always in the same pocket.

Same quality for years and years
I've never had a problem with any 5.11 apparel, and these appear to be made to the same standard as 5.11 stuff I've had for years and years.
The fit is average, order the same waist size you'd wear in a Levi's 505.

Quality Shorts
The fit on the shorts is exceptional thnx to the elastic. The room for all my EDC gear plus anything else I need to carry is great. I own a few of the long pants and with the seasons in southern South Carolina these shorts are in rotation more often than the long pants. just ordered two more pairs. I often find myself recommending them to people in all types of fields and professions.

Great Pair Of Shorts
Since I moved to Nevada in 2010 the only pants and shorts I wear are 5.11. They are well made and I love all the pockets. I usually wear out one pair of pants and one pair shorts per year. While they are not inexpensive, I do feel I can my money's worth out of each pair.

5.11 Quality and price
I love my 5.11 tactile pro shorts. The waistband doesn't bind or grab and is a snug fit with the elastic partial waistband. Plenty of pockets for storing all my EDC stuff. They are a mirror image and exact style as the pants version just without the bottom half of the legs. Plenty of room to move around without binding or grabbing my crotch. The belt loops are 1-½" compatible and accepts my leather gun belt. I would highly recommend these if you are in need of something more than cargo shorts but don't need the protection of pants. Haven't faded or shrunk from washing. Color of the material stays with stains and dirt gone.

5.11 Taclite Shorts
Excellent option for hot weather (which is most of the time here in Florida). All of the same features and pockets of the full length Taclite pants, but in shorts. As a firearm instructor, I need the multiple pockets for my cell phone and other range gadgets.

5.11 Taclite Pro Shorts tough and comfortable
5.11 Taclite Pro shorts hold up under tough conditions and are comfortable to wear. They don't fade and the Teflon coating reduces abrasion. They have wide belt loops and pockets for everything you need to cary. On sale these shorts are a steal.
