I ordered a 34X32, I have worn the same size pants for years and have not grown any or gained any weight. The pants were about 2" too small in the wais.

The internal magazine pouch should be behind your hip, it is infront on the left side and digs in every time you sit down.
Other than that these jeans are the best buy going for an office or a civilian. They are comfortable and they do not need ironing.
