42” chest, 30” waist - 5.11 Tactical LBE Vest - Mens

I’m 5’11”, with a 42” chest and 30” waist. Bought the medium (no small option available for this product). The waist is way too big even when taken down to the slimmest possible adjustments. The only way it fits is tightening the front buckle so much that the front of the vest folds. That said, this is the only molle vest I could even get to fit, and I recognize that my measurements are not average. Still, 30” waist is not uncommon, and to have so much adjustability yet not accommodate that size is a bit disappointing.
