Excellent material, construction, and workmanship. Just be aware that the colors shown in pictures are not exactly as they appear . . . Shade varies. Also be aware that size fit is small, so if you think you are 2X, go for the 4X. I had to return and reorder for 54" chest.

5.11 VTAC Vest

I was concerned about the fit because several websites had different size charts for this item and there were differences in them. I called Optics and talked to a rep who sized me perfectly. The vest fits great and appears to be 5 stars in quality. I have only begun to arrange accessories on it but so far everything functions smoothly. I have put a holster horizontally on the left side as well as a set of 3 kangaroo pouches. I'm still deciding what I want on the right side. I have also put a hyd. pk. in the rear and it has balanced out the vest nicely. All in all a great buy!

5.11 VTAC LBE Vest - MOLLE Tactical Vest 58631

I spent a lot of time and money looking for a high quality piece of MOLLE gear to use and the 5.11 fit the bill perfectly.

Being short and kind of rotund (190 lbs.) a lot of stuff out there isn't made for people like myself. But this fit, the stitching is superb and it is really versatile. It's easy to get off and on.

I'm planning to mount a small fan-(you won't believe they want to censor this word)- ny pack or other kind of pack on the back and using this for hiking and camping. It has a lot of uses out of the ordinary - preppers, survivalists, outdoors-men, etc. could custom make gear for a variety of purposes.

Configurable LBE Vest ....

...with lots of options. I set this up with various molle mag pouches and a holster. They held up really well. The vest can be adjusted to fit from the front and sides. Very well made. No issues so far.

Vest is very well made and heavy duty. I use a lot of 5.11 products for my job and have been very pleased with the quality of their gear. This vest is as good as they come and will hold up well with use.

The 5.11 LBE Vest fits the AR500 Nano Soft Armor and Trauma Pad in the Hydration Pouch. The AR500 Side Plate Pouch EPIK (First Aid Kit) is a tight fit in the front inside pocket. Hope for the vest to carry some EDC and/or "The Ten Essentials" by the Seattle Mountaineers. And to be prepared for the zombies that peak at the end of October ! The Vest fits; but had to let it out a little... (42" 5.11 Tack slacks).

I'm a large framed individual. 6'4" 345lbs. This vest fit me with room to spare. Adjusts in both girth and length, using extremely strong Velcro panels and straps. Excellent quality and construction.

very happy, leans a little to the back until you load it with gear on the front. After it it loaded it fits very nicely. Lots of molle for setting up how you want it. have to spend extra money for the pouches and such. but worth it. Great prices on all of this stuff here at optics planet. actually even better than CTD and without the exorbitant shipping costs! Major plus!!and if you find the stuff you want on sale here, as I did, best prices there are hands down. I paid an unbelievable low price and got this on sale. VERY HAPPY!!!!
Pros: lots of molle for setting up to your prefefence
Cons: nothing that stands out, nice vest.
