My favorite use for AZoom Snap-caps-
My most favorite use for the A-Zoom Snap-caps other than for training is in my AR's that I can pull the trigger so that I don't leave the system under spring pressure.
Having the snap-caps red in your rifle or handgun is a real safety with being able to see the red color quickiy.
Nice Snap-Cap
These are great to have on hand for dry fire practice and rifle handling skills. They feed correctly and are brightly colored so its hard to mistake them for live ammo.

.223 version jammed - weak rim
I just got this for a new Ruger Mini-14. Already tested the Ruger and confirmed it works properly and fed and extracted 110 rounds at the range just fine.
After cleaning, loaded a magazine with these snap caps to test proper functioning before putting back in the safe.
The 3rd round chambered failed to extract, resulting in a type 3. Finally got it out and see that the extractor ripped right through the cartridge rim. This was the first time that brand new snap cap cartridge had been chambered. And it failed on the first extraction attempt. Given the flawless performance with live ammo, I don't believe it is the rifle. I'm not impressed with the quality of these snap caps.
Otherwise, they seem fine, but...

Pros:
- look nice
Cons:
- Not strong enough for the intended use
Best Used for:
- unintentionally setting up a type 3

Incorrect Number of Dummies
The listing is for 12 rounds, but the package only contains 10. It even says 10 rounds on the packaging itself. Otherwise, it looks like they'll work fine. I call myself getting these because the orange color would make them hard to miss when they fall on the ground, but I've already lost one of my 22lr rounds.

As advertised
These work fine for dry fire practice or malfunction drills as intended. Better than the plastic ones from other companies. The orange color stands out and can't be mistaken for live ammo. The price is good for ten of them as these last for quite a long time.
