Strictly speaking, if you just need something to raise a sight up a bit, you are better off getting a regular riser at a fraction of the weight of this thing. I, however, just really like the look of carry handles which is why I got this. If you get the short version, you can mount it between a typical pair of backup sights and they will perfectly clear and be usable, so you can keep your backup sights in place if you have them. It feels sturdy, there is a ton of real estate for mounting whatever you may want, and doesn't have any glaring issues. My only minor complaint is the mounting system is mildly inconvenient. Rather than the typical setup of tightening screws on the sides to clamp it on the rail, it uses small screws coming from the top that are slightly tricky to work with. It's advised to use threadlocker with it as well, so it isn't something you can casually swap out. That aside, I like it overall. If you like carry handles, it can be a neat addition, and I personally think it looks quite nice on bullpups.

The carry handle works as expected and as others have stated. Puts the rail just in the right position to add a sight or scope plus it looks good and is solid.
