Most Helpful Positive Review Accutac BR4 Gen2 bipod
I had one of this bipod for two years and always wished I could adjust the leg height. Well the new Gen2 solves that issue and the locking lever in the rear is even better than the original version that used to be on the bottom I also have the SR5 model and this are the best bipods you can buy in my opinion The BR4 is shorter let’s you get down low in the prone position great for light weight hunting rifles and AR15 AR10 platforms. The SR5 is great for my heavier bolt rifles 338 Lapua 375 Cheytac etc I sold my Atlas bipods both the SPR and H5 for the Accutac .

Rock solid construction

by Rangur1, Verified Owner from NY, United States Written on August 18, 2025
Have had accu tacs for years. Very good build quality, only issue is feet come unscrewed with use and you can have one fall off. Cost is robust, but I guess you get what you pay for.
Pros:
  • Sturdiness
Cons:
  • Cost, loose feet
Best Used for:
  • Bench , field

SOLID BIPOD

by Carlos Adame, Verified Owner from TX, United States Written on November 3, 2024
Solid bipod, no complaints.

FYI, ensure you hand tighten the rubber feet as they will come loose. A dot of blue Loctite will help though it may not be recommended.

ACCU-TAC Br-4 G2 Bipod, Picatinny

by Sven, from WA, United States Written on March 22, 2024
This is great bipod that is more compact than the Fc-4 model. It does not have a pan feature, however, if your situation does not call for pan adjustment, then is a great bipod and is ruggedly built. I think you would have to try pretty hard to break it.

Bipod Overwhelm Disorder Solution

by Mike, from CA, United States Written on January 12, 2024
Real quick, 1st AR platform owner. It's a Springfield Saint Victor and I wanted it set up for me. I had NO IDEA the amount of after-marker options available..and the bi-pod choice was no different. I researched AR bi-pods for like a month until I was sick of the choices/details. Pukked the trigger on the Accu-Tac and I am glad I did. These units are strong! Aluminum and durable, the legs click out easily. The heavy rubber feet are top-quality. The finish is nice, and the look is just very cool. I did not want to see springs on a bipod, and I also did not want the smooth texture of a bipod compared to the edges and military design of an AR platform. The best thing..is the detach mechanism. I wanted a bipod not on my gun 24/7 that I could detach and attach easily. I switched from a synthetic Magpul plate to an aluminum plate to attach the bipod, as it is a strong lever attachment device that WILL NOT MOVE once locked down. Easy to attach for the range, then detach when not needed. Highly recommend this bipod.
Pros:
  • Detachable & very pro apperance
Cons:
  • Maybe the weight, but not an issue really
