Accu-tac are some excellent built bipods my only complaint is with the description being a G2 when the one I received was first generation.

I did a ton of research before buying this bipod. I was upgrading from a Harris and a $400+ bipod isn't something I purchase every day, so the expense had to be worth it. I already own Magpul (junk), Harris (decent), Atlas (Better), but AccuTac is in a class of its own.
It is built like a tank, I am big guy and I can load this bipod with everything I've got and it doesn't flinch. Spotting my shots on a 6.5Creedmore is ridiculously easy, it's like spotting a 22lr. Looking forward to a range trip with my 338 Lapua.
The Pan & Cant features are great. One pleasant surprise, that no one mention in the hours of YT videos & pages of reviews, is the tension adjustment on the Pan & Cant is exceptional! I am able to get the perfect tension to get the rifle level yet still able to micro adjust if my position changes slightly.
I am looking forward to competitive shooting next year as this bipod has largely removed the canting variable from long range precision shooting.
The only possible negative, depending on your shooting position, is this is a fairly tall bipod even when the legs are not extended. Not an issue for benchrest shooting and likely very desirable for hunting in grass. But, if my primary shooting position was prone with no/minimal vegetation, I'd likely opt for the FC4. Situationally, you can rotate the legs forward 45 degrees and have the same overall height as the FC4. Which is why I chose the FC5.

I own a few different brands of bipods and most of them work fine for my applications. I was putting together a heavier rifle build and wanted something a bit more substantial to 1. add a little weight to the front end and 2. give me the best stability and support I could get. Other brands had some really good offerings and made the decision process difficult. A friend recommended the Accu-Tac series of bipods. I researched multiple models of the Accu-tac bipods and finally settled on the FC-5 Arca and let me tell you, it does not disappoint. As advertised and reviewed online, the unit performs well, is solidly built, and has a certain asthetic that goes well with my build. I will be purchasing a couple of the BR series for other rifles. The FC line has a really wide stance, mulitple angle options, solid cant/pan locks and easy to use leg extend/retract mechanisms.
Look up and check out the Accu-Tac website.
Pros:
- Leg do not flex when loaded
- Locking mechanism seems accurate and doesn't require re-adjustment
- Legs are easy to deploy and manipulate
Cons:
- If arca adapter is not fitted tightly, adapter can slide down the rail. Adjust properly.
Best Used for:
- Bench rest or prone position

Exceptional product. Quality materials and quality manufacturing. This Bi-pod is well worth the price. It will be a great component for my Savage Elite Precision 300 PCR. There is no give/bend when the full weight of my rifle is applied to it.

Very well made, and a great design! A bit pricey for a bipod, but that's to be expected of something this high-quality. This bipod is built like a tank and provides an extremely stable shooting platform.

The ACCU-Tac bipod is a quality piece of equipment. Its very sturdy, light weight and well built. Im putting it on my Ruger Precision 300 win mag with Arca Swiss and its perfect. The adjustable legs are well built and great for small increments and for a larger stance. Im very happy with the product. The only gripe is that you cant tighten the arca swiss lever without canting the bipod over. The lever hits the leg at the cross section. I like the rubber feet but I just purchased the ski feet for my long range prone shooting. Just as an added comment, the box it came in was way over the top. The box is insane with the padded foam, gloss coating graphics and construction. I could really care less about the box as long as it protects the product inside, but now I cant put it in the garbage due to its sheer beauty. Did I really spend an extra $60 on the box? It would have been nice to keep the cost down as a $400 bipod is a little steep.
Pros:
- well built, adjustability, light weight
Best Used for:
- long range shooting, not the best for PRS
