Ace Link Comp 28 Vest
First thing I want to highlight is the fit, I’ve wasted money on two other vests that were too small. The size chart is accurate, my vest fits perfectly with and without plates. Secondly the pockets for the plates are setup very nicely. The plates load from the top of the pocket, which keeps the plates in the center of the cardiac box as it should be. I was a little confused on how to open the pockets, then I realized that the Velcro patch across the chest and the back are the openings for the front and back plate pockets.

Does not accept 10x12 plates properly
I bought this vest with guard dog 10x12 level 4 ceramic plates, but the plates do not fit inside the plate pouch. The plates are too tall and the Velcro does not make good contact thus failing to secure the plates inside the vest. I like the feel and size of this vest but cannot recommend it if you wanted to "upgrade" the protection level. Also just fyi it doesn't have the ace link level 3a insert in it.
