I’ve been wearing the Ace Link Armor Livewire Carrier Vest XL for my daily police duties, and it’s been a game-changer. I’m 5'9", 195 lbs, and the XL fits perfectly—snug without being restrictive, and adjustable enough to dial in a comfortable, secure fit. The vest carrier is both stylish and extremely functional. It has a clean, professional look while still offering practical load-bearing capability. Simply put, this vest carrier is perfect for my daily police functions. It redistributes the weight from my duty belt, taking a significant load off my waist and lower back, which makes a noticeable difference during long shifts. Overall, I’m very impressed with the comfort, fit, and performance. Highly recommended for anyone looking to improve comfort and support on duty.

Weird double zipper, left handed. Zips up and down.
Left-handed zipper and opening; unlike any other front opening vest on the planet. I ordered large as per the sizing chart. Everything I own has been medium since a teenager. The size chart showed to order large. I should have ordered medium like my gut said to do. Both, Safe Life Defence and Galls panels are medium, so they hang too low in the cover, thus making my upper back and sternum vulnerable with no protection.
The vest itself is very well made and looks great. Unfortunately, I will be returning it. I really wanted this vest cover, but I don't think I will exchange it due to the left-handed double zipper.

Took chest measurement and used sizing chart vest didn’t fit properly. This vest offers no side protection like other products. If you’re looking for something to bet your life on this isn’t it

Feels good, looks good
Fit and function are great. Way better quality than my Safe Life Defense vest with a way better fit. As a side bonus, my size L Safe Life IIIA panels fit this vest perfectly, saving me $500 on new panels.
