I run several Adams Arms piston kits and this one is no different. After some buffer and spring tuning, it runs flawlessly. I use some custom bushing on the rod to achieve the correct final gap of the operating rod with different barrel nuts. They are no where near as finicky as a lot of people think.
Pros:
- Easy install, quality parts, several hand guard adaptable
Cons:
- Lack of quality, written instruction for first timers.
Best Used for:
- Any AR rifle build.
